Looking for a fun weekend project for the kids or grandkids? Or maybe even for yourself or the ‘grownups’? (Added because I am pretty sure that Lisa is dying to try this.)
This is the type of project that was much more common before the arrival of X-boxes and Playstations. So perhaps the ‘nostalgia’ effect is in play here. (Does that date me?)
Surf over to Paper Robots 1999 where you can find photographs, blueprints and instructions for building all kinds of paper robots. As well as accessories to go along with them. Some which are even of the ‘Star Wars’ variety.
Enjoy your inner child!

Cool!!! Techie toys that children can ACTUALLY play with, dream about, anticipate and look into the future all the while! Great idea….a child named Nan would probably enjoy them, too….I remember a tin robot put out by LEGGO I gave the adults at my office for Christmas presents….the hit of the season at the office. Nan
Sounds like a lot of work for today’s children. And I am not sure they could deal with the anticipation and all. Seeing as how they all seem to want things… NOW!
Way cool! I wanna play! Let’s have a Paper Robots party!
I will be sure to post a pic of my masterpiece!
