Following is a list of sites that I frequent and that gave me the inspiration to start my own site. It is quite a hodge-podge of sites. But they are all awesome! Thanks to each of them for doing a great job and for being a catalyst in my effort to learn to blog and develop PigletPaper.
This is Merlin Mann’s site about personal productivity, life hacks, and simple ways to make your life better. If you are a fan of ‘Getting Things Done’ (GTD) or David Allen, you’ll love his content.
On this blog, they are “changing the world, one apartment at a time”. As an apartment dweller, I find numerous ideas here. I am also envious of the loft-style apartments that frequent their pages since we don’t have them as an option here in Midland, TX.
Described as a “design blog showcasing fresh finds, from sofas to stationery”. Although much of it is a little too feminine for my tastes, I love the design ideas and links to great sites.
They say, “Lifehacker makes getting things done easy and fun.” I say it is for the geek in all of us!
This is your “Daily digest and pointers on productivity, getting things done and lifehacks”. Another great site if you are into GTD.
“A Directory of Wonderful Things”. I love the eclectic and off-the-wall posts these guys come up with.
The site is about “Better Living Through New Media” but I like David’s post on productivity.
Not so much his site, but rather his book, Blog Wild! It was a great primer to get me going.
