This was the first article I wrote for the Junior League of Midland’s publication, the Tumbleweed. I had the privilege of writing all seven articles for them as one of their Feature writers for the 2005/2006 editorial term which began in September and ended in May with November, December and January combined into one Holiday issue.

This particular article makes the analogy of starting a business to a safari. It glimpses of what it takes to get started in business, but on a deeper level, it also examines many of the obstacles that prevent people from pursuing their dream in the first place.

This article was published in the September 2005 issue of the Tumbleweed.
